Sign up at the front desk to volunteer at the Atlanta Community Food Bank from 6 – 8:30 p.m., on Tuesday, February 9th. Our job will be to inspect, sort, and pack food, paper goods, and a small number of other items to be delivered to the hungry and the poor. Volunteers are limited to 25.
Haiti Aid
On January 12th, a series of earthquakes measuring 6.5 to 7.3 on the Richter scale devastated Haiti. Georgia Tech has set up a website with information about how you can help the victims of the earthquake.

The Language Institute is ordering tickets in advance as this game may be a sellout.
Halloween Party
Come to the Language Institute Halloween Party on Tuesday, October 27, from 2 - 5 pm outside, in front of the O'Keefe Building. We have invited Georgia Tech students to join the party, so there should be a lot of opportunity to use the English skills you are learning in the classroom! There will be refreshments, music, drawings for prizes, and pumpkins to carve or paint. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes and best pumpkins. Costumes can be bought, rented or made.
